Secretaría de Desarrollo Social (SEDESOL)
Según Decreto Ejecutivo número PCM 05-2022, publicado en el Diario Oficial La Gaceta N.o 35,892 del seis (06) de abril de dos mil veintidós (2022). ARTÍCULO 11. Se crea la Secretaría de Estado en el Despacho de Desarrollo Social, perteneciente al Poder Ejecutivo, para instituir las políticas sociales de la Honduras solidaria, incluyente y libre de violencia. La Secretaría de Desarrollo Social, tiene como objetivos estratégicos: implementar el diseño, evaluación planificación, coordinación, monitoreo y evaluación de las políticas públicas a fin de lograr una mayor eficacia y efectividad del sistema de protección social, que garanticen el goce de los derechos sociales, económicos, culturales y ambientales de los grupos en situación de pobreza, pobreza extrema y vulnerabilidad de Honduras. 1
